Neuro Peak vs Focus Factor: Which is Best?

Neuro Peak vs Focus Factor – which of these two nootropics is best at boosting brain power?

And which one will give you the best bang for your buck? We take a look at everything from the ingredients, servings, to brand authority and give you our thoughts.

Neuro peak vs focus factor Intro

Neuro Peak is a dietary supplement that’s claimed to help you:

  • Improve focus and mental clarity
  • Optimize memory

Focus Factor is a highly popular nootropic supplement in its own right, with hundreds of user reviews online. It’s claimed to:

  • Boost memory
  • Enhance concentration and focus

As you can see, the marketing claims of both products are pretty similar. However, we’ve found Neuro Peak to offer a better package overall for two simple reasons.

First, it uses a fully transparent formula. Meaning you can see all the ingredient facts on the label. Focus Factor, on the other hand, doesn’t show the doses of all of its ingredients, which is a little annoying. Not only that, but Neuro Peak costs less and comes with a lower risk of side effects.

Neither of these two nootropics makes it on our top 3 list, though. They’re missing some of the core ingredients that we so often see in market-leading products.

Company Reputation

Focus Factor is the supplement made by a company of the same name. Their slogan for this nootropic is “feed your Einstein,” implying that Focus Factor can help bring out the latent genius in you. Will it really be able to do so? We’ll find out soon.

Neuro Peak is made by Zhou Nutrition. An American company founded in 2014. They’re owned by a parent company called “Nutraceutical International Corporation.

” The slogan for their supplements is simple: “Combining ancient wisdom with modern research to create superior dietary supplements.”. Besides offering nootropics, they also produce sports supplements for both men and women.

Neuro peak vs focus factor The Ingredients

There are quite a few similarities between Neuro Peak and Focus Factor’s formulas. Both include DMAE, Ginkgo, Bacopa, and vitamin B12. But there are some big differences too.

Focus Factor formula is much bigger, mainly due to the vitamins and minerals inside. It also has a proprietary blend compared to Neuro Peak’s fully transparent formula.

Both products have their own pros and cons in my opinion. Neither formula is fantastic.

We’ve picked the top three nootropic stacks that are available to you right now for cognitive support.

If I had to choose though, I’d give this round to Neuro Peak. If for nothing else, then because of its transparent formula.

Neuro Peak Ingredients

neuro peak ingredients

Neuro Peak’s formula uses 6 ingredients. Each of them has their own unique effects, which I like. For example, Phosphatidylserine helps with cognition and brain cell integrity, while Rhodiola will boost your mental energy and strength. Still, it’s not the best nootropic formula I’ve seen – it’s missing a few of my favorite brain-boosting ingredients.

  • Vitamin B12 – It prevents the amino acid homocysteine from going out of control and causing damage to your capillaries in the brain.
  • Bacopa Monnieri – An adaptogen herb that’s best known for helping your body better cope with stress, along with improving memory and recall. One of my favorite nootropics in general.
  • Phosphatidylserine – A vital phospholipid that is highly concentrated in your brain cell membranes, maintaining the cell’s structure and fluidity. Reduces stress, improves memory, and enhances cognition.
  • Ginkgo Biloba – Best known for boosting blood flow in your cerebral cortex, resulting in increased mental clarity.
  • Rhodiola Rosea Extract – Helps combat stress and improve vitality.
  • DMAE – Okay for fighting the cognitive decline in the elderly, but it’s not my favorite brain-boosting compound.

Focus Factor Ingredients

Focus Factor’s ingredient formula is quite huge. Many of them are basic vitamins and minerals. I’m only going to list the key nootropic ingredients here. Here they are:

  • B Vitamins – These include vitamins B6 and B12, both of which play an important role in your overall cognitive health.
  • Vitamin D – Helps against depression and is generally very important for brain health. Even more so when you consider that many of us don’t get enough of it.
  • Magnesium – Relaxes your nerves and helps against fight the blues.
  • Zinc – Critical for proper nerve signaling, meaning, it helps you think clearer and remember better.
  • DMAE – Again, this compound is shown to help against age-related mental decline, but it’s not very good at boosting your cognitive powers right here, right now.
  • Choline – A critical component of your brain which regulates memory, thinking, and mood. It even helps the liver get rid of excess fat.
  • Ginkgo Biloba – Reduces brain fog.
  • DHA – An omega-3 fatty acid that makes up a large chunk of your brain. Enough said.
  • NALT – Or N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, is an amino acid that helps your brain create more dopamine and other neurotransmitters that govern your motivation, mood, and focus.
  • Bacopa Monnieri – Protects the brain from oxidative stress, improves memory, and boosts mood.

Neuro peak vs focus factor Dosages & Servings?

Focus Factor dosage is 4 capsule per day with a meal. The manufacturers say you can safely take up to 8 caps per day. I’d recommend splitting the dosage into more servings throughout the day to keep the constant supply of its ingredients to your body.

Neuro Peak dosage is 1 capsule, once or twice daily with a meal. For most people, this will be a much simpler way to take a nootropic supplement. Is it better? Theoretically, no, as the ingredients won’t remain in your system as long as Focus Factor, but this isn’t proven to make any difference in terms of effects or benefits.

Neuro peak vs focus factor Side Effects

As Focus Factor has a proprietary blend, we can’t really asses all the ingredient doses for safety. That said, most customer reviews on this product are positive. We haven’t come across any serious complaints about this product.

Neuro Peak uses only 6 ingredients, all of which have their dosages shown. The dosages themselves are fairly light, maybe too light for my liking. But at least you won’t need to worry about side effects.

Neuro peak vs focus factor Customer Reviews

With over 7,266 ratings on Amazon, and an average score of 4/5 stars. Neuro Peak is a pretty popular and well-received nootropic.

Some users complained about the lack of “noticeable benefits” though. Many of them said they felt like it wasn’t that effective. But I didn’t come across any users complaining about negative side effects, which is great!

Similar is with Focus Factor. 4.3 out of 5 stars on Amazon, and thousands of reviews online. Mostly positive too. A few users complained about heightened anxiety and headaches.

Price and Value For Money

Focus Factor price is $29.96 for one month-worth of product. It’s a fairly low price, and is an okay value for money. But when you compare it with professional top-rated nootropics, even while they’re more expensive, they offer much more bang for the buck.

Neuro Peak costs around $20 for one month worth of product. It’s a cheaper product, which comes at the cost of its effectiveness.

Conclusion on Neuro Peak vs Focus Factor

So, Neuro Peak vs Focus Factor? Which one should you get?

To be honest, neither of these nootropics are super impressive. If I had to choose, I’d go for Neuro Peak since it has some of my favorite nootropic ingredients and doesn’t hide its dosages.

But it’s still far from the best nootropic formula – the dosages are too light, and it misses some key ingredients like Lion’s Mane Mushroom, Citicoline, and Ashwagandha.

On the other hand, Focus Factor has a proprietary blend which is a big no-no. There’s no reason to hide your formula from customers. The manufacturers who use prop blends like this say that they want to protect their formulas from theft.

But let’s be honest, no one’s going to steal your nootropic formula. The ingredients are nothing secret. It’s all been seen and tried already.

Proprietary blends only signal that the company is trying to save money by loading up on cheaper ingredients while cutting back on the higher quality stuff. Without you being able to see, since the dosages are masked in a blend.

All in all, if I had to choose which one is less bad, it’d be Neuro Peak. But neither of these can compare with the top tier nootropics of today’s market.

Neuro Peak Key Points:

  • Safe and light dosages
  • Missing a few key nootropics
  • Might boost your long-term memory and mood
  • Transparent formula
  • Costs around $20

Focus Factor Key Points:

  • Diverse ingredient formula with vitamins, herbs, and other nootropics
  • Uses an ugly proprietary blend
  • Might cause side effects
  • Costs around $30
